Do you offer babysitting service?

Should guests require a babysitter this should be organised prior to arrival and reception would need to be informed of the times required and the ages of each child. This is not a service provided by Auchrannie; babysitters are Housekeeping staff who are generally available in the evenings. Payment is made directly to the babysitter, not through Auchrannie.


Is there a safe in my room?

All Hotel rooms have a safe in the wardrobe.  Alternatively, guest can deposit valuables in a sealed bag and leave item in Hotel Reception safe.  In Resort NO rooms have a safe.  However, the same as Hotel guests they can deposit valuables in a sealed bag and leave item in Resort Reception safe.


Is a deposit required when making a booking?

No deposit is required for hotel rooms at the time of booking; everything is settled on departure, although hotel rooms do have a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Lodges require an initial non- refundable 20% deposit at the time of booking, with the full balance payable 28 days prior to arrival.


Can Auchrannie cater for guests with dietary requirements?

 The three restaurants can cater for various dietary requirements. We would advise informing us during the booking process if making a hotel or lodge reservation, alternatively inform the restaurant staff of any requirements prior to dining.


Can Auchrannie offer accommodation for guests with disabilities?

We can offer rooms in our hotels and a lodge which can provide guests with facilities for varying levels of disabilities, our reservations team would need to be informed of guests specific needs during the booking process in order to allocate the correct type of room.

Are leisure facilities included with my booking?

All room rates include the leisure facilities in both hotels although activities in the Games Hall do incur extra charges. For hotel guests towels are provided free of charge at each of the leisure desks, lodge guests are provided with their own towels in each lodge.


Are there laundry/ironing facilities?

There is a Guest laundry Form and Laundry bag stored in the wardrobe of guest rooms. Guest can complete the form with the number of items to be laundered and hand the bag into Reception. 

Each bedroom is equipped with an iron and iron board.


Can you provide a wheelchair?

 We do not have any wheelchairs on site, but we can contact the local Red Cross group if a guest requires a wheelchair, commode, walking aid, etc.  This is best to be booked in advance of their stay.  There is no charge for the service, but a donation is always welcome.


Can I order a packed lunch?

Guests must complete a packed lunch form, selecting their preferred sandwich filling, etc. Packed lunch forms can be collected at the various receptions and has to be completed with the room number and time packed lunch is required.


How do I book the ferry if I am bringing a car?

If you intend to bring your car we would strongly advise booking your ferry crossing prior to your arrival. This can be booked through Caledonian MacBrayne by calling 0800 066 5000 or by visiting: -  Car passengers are advised to be checked in no later than 30 mins prior to departure.

 Guests who intend to travel as foot passengers can purchase their tickets prior to boarding the vessel at Ardrossan and foot passengers are advised to be on the vessel at least 10 minutes prior to departure.

Can I order champagne/wine or other gifts to be in room for arrival?

We offer a wide selection of items such as  James handmade chocolates, flowers and various wines which can purchased prior to guests arrival, which can be in their room when they arrive. Further information and prices can be found here.

Where can I find out about what there is to do on Arran?

Where can food allowances be used onsite?

All packages with food allowances at dinner can be used in any of our restaurants and there are no restrictions on what can be ordered from the menus. Room service is also included in you allowances during dinner times although this does incur a £5 tray charge.


Are your leisure facilities open to non residents?

Non residents may use our leisure facilities and swimming pool between 11am-4pm and 7pm-9pm daily. Charge apply.


Where can i view your latest tariff / rates?

Our rates change daily. Throughout the year we also run numerous special promotions and packages details of which can be found on our Special Offers page.

Are restaurant bookings required before arrival?

We do advise making bookings in all our restaurants to avoid disappointment.

What are the car parking facilities at Auchrannie?

Car parking facilities are provided at various locations throughout the Estate and there is no charge for guests using the car parks. We do advise guests to inform us of their car registration in case the alarm activates or the lights are left on.


Do you have a drying room for wet weather gear?

In Resort we have a drying room located in the corridor by the back door (exit to rear car park and Playbarn). In Hotel we have a drying room located by the Hotel Leisure changing rooms. Please note that both drying areas are left UNLOCKED and guests should be advised that they are leaving their belongings at their own risk.



Are dogs permitted in the hotels or lodges?

We do offer dog friendly accommodation in both our hotels and a majority of our lodges. We would need to be informed during the booking process that you intend to bring a dog in order to allocate dog friendly room. Dogs are charged at £10 per night per dog in each of the hotels for the first three nights and our lodges incur a flat rate of £30 per stay.


do you offer a pick up service from the ferry?

Guests travelling without their own transport can take advantage of our courtesy mini bus services which operates between the resort and Brodick Ferry Terminal.

For arrivals, the service leaves the ferry port after all passengers have disembarked the ferry.

For drop offs, the mini bus departs from outside the main doors of the spa and hotel 30 minutes prior to scheduled ferry sailing times. Guests wishing to use this service are advised to book in advance by calling us on +44 (0)1770 302 234


Do we need to pre book treatments at the Aspa?

We would strongly advise guests to book  treatments in advance of their stay to avoid disappointment as treatment times do fill up quite quickly, further information and a copy of the current brochure and price list can be found here.
