Auchrannie Resort crowned Hotel of the Year by the Scottish Entertainment Guide

Auchrannie Resort has been crowned 'Hotel of the Year 2012' by the 'Scottish Entertainment Guide' at a glittering black tie event which took place in Glasgow on Sunday evening, 22nd April.

The awards aimed to celebrate everything great in the Scottish entertainment market including restaurants, casinos, bars and of course hotels.
Auchrannie (Scotland’s most unique island resort) was originally shortlisted after the organisers received hundreds of nominations from Auchrannie’s loyal online followers, fans and "Buddies".
Richard Small, General Manager on collecting the award said “We are over the moon to have won such a prestigious award and by doing so beat competition from the length and breadth of Scotland.  There are many amazing hotels throughout Scotland but to be recognised as the best is an outstanding honour for us all".
Commenting further, Linda Johnston, Group Director added “Winning this particular award is a tremendous achievement for the entire team and proves that Auchrannie really does deliver to customers the perfect combination of comfort, quality & service - consistently”.
Auchrannie Resort offers visitors to the Isle of Arran a choice of two four star hotels as well as 30 luxury self-catering lodges, three distinct restaurants and bars, two leisure clubs, onsite adventure cabin, children’s play barn and a spa offering the latest ESPA therapies.
The Isle of Arran
The Isle of Arran – located off the Ayrshire coast, it is Scotland’s most accessible Island. Frequent ferry services link Arran with Ardrossan in Ayrshire and Cloanaig in Kintyre. The ferry port of Ardrossan is less than forty minutes’ drive from both Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick airport, making Arran the perfect destination for a short break or longer holiday whether travelling from Scotland, the rest of the UK or indeed across Europe.
