Auchrannie Resort this week clocked up its 1000th review on Tripadvisor – the internet’s leading online travel review site.
This achievement puts Auchrannie amongst only a handful of businesses of its size across the whole of the UK who have reached this significant milestone.
The resorts own research shows that customers who visit Auchrannie are up to five times more likely to post a review about their experience than those visiting its major competitors.
There is further good news in the detail of the reviews which shows 94% of those customers who have either dined or stayed Auchrannie would happily recommend Auchrannie to others.
The rapidly increasing popularity of Tripadvisor is highlighted by the fact that almost 400 of the 1000 reviews have been received in the last 6 months. When Tripadvisor first launched, the resort was receiving one review every couple of months, that has now grown to an average of around 3 reviews every day!
Commenting on the news, Richard Small, General Manager said “The fact that so many people want to comment on their Auchrannie experience undoubtedly reflects a passion for our products from our customers as well as the passion and personality that all our staff deliver on a daily basis”.
Linda Johnston, Group Director added “We are aware that Tripadvisor satisfaction ratings at many hotels across the island are well above the national average and hope that this sends a clear message to the increasingly discerning traveller that Arran really is a world class destination.”
In the last 12 months Auchrannie Resort has been awarded four certificates of excellence by Tripadvisor and a prestigious ‘Travellers Choice’ award – for being amongst the best rated relaxation hotels in the UK.
