Major Spa Development for Auchrannie Resort

Auchrannie Resort has announced plans to open a brand new spa facility in time for spring 2013.

Scheduled to open by Easter 2013, the new 250m2 spa will take over the existing spa shop, ground level concourse and a number of offices.

The complex will include five luxury treatment rooms, chill out zone, nail bar, relaxation area and retail unit.

The Spa will use natural stone, wood and glass to give a true sense of bringing the outdoors inside and will treat users to a truly relaxing experience, both physically and emotionally.

Visitors to will be able to relax before or after treatments with a glass of champagne and a light snacks from a specially created spa menu.

Newly built treatment rooms will provide a warm and calming environment with individually controlled lighting and music, ensuring guests senses are optimised for the treatments they are receiving.

Afterwards, guests will be able to select their favourite herbal teas and freshly squeezed juices whilst chilling out in one of the relaxation pods.

This new addition to Auchrannie will create a peaceful oasis and a specially crafted environment that ensures privacy, seclusion, and a quiet escape, whether for a few hours or the entire day.

The Spa’s extensive treatment menu will continue to use ESPA products and therapies for both men and women will include detoxifying wraps, indulgent facials, salt scrubs  and a wide range of massages, all designed to ensure users experience the best therapeutic benefits.

Speaking of the new development Linda Johnston, Group Director said “Bringing a destination spa to Arran has been our aim for a number of years and we’re glad to finally see this come to fruition. This development will not only benefit our existing customers, but hopefully attract new customers to visit Auchrannie and the Isle of Arran”.

Work on the new spa is due to start on November 19th.  Interior design has been undertaken by Gillian Monro of Platform9 (Glasgow) with architecture by David Graham of Axiom Designs, whilst the building work will be undertaken by local contractors and the in-house team. Completion is scheduled for Easter 2013.
